Assistant Retail Manager (KL)
Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the overall performance of the outlet and in meeting the company's KPI's
  • Daily operational management of the outlet which includes customer service, staff, inventory, marketing & promotion, shop floor display and administrative function
  • Leading a team of staff to achieve service excellence
Pre-requisites
  • Degree in any discipline with minimum 2 - 3 years working experience preferably in managing a retail outlet
  • Strong managerial skills
  • Independent and mature with high degree of initiative with good knowledge of retail procedures and systems
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Must be hands-on and able to lead by example

Responsibilities
  • Assist to coordinate business unit's participation in local and overseas exhibitions and collation of trade enquiries received from exhibitions
  • Liaise with Government Department / Professional Bodies / Associations on publishing licenses and permits for Directory titles
  • Liaise with customers on fulfillment of directory orders and freelance Editors on editorial write-up for various directory titles
  • Supervise and oversee the compilation operations
  • Update, upload and maintain database for the directories and to assist product development for new directories
Pre-requisites
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Business Studies/Marketing/Mass Communication or any related field
  • Minimum with 1-2 years of working experience preferably in publishing industry or similar capacity
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office application
  • Good communication skill both written and verbal in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Good interpersonal skill and able to work independently
  • Analytical organized and meticulous
